off topic......Payday loans if you have had any ..Advice for interest back

Had a few back in 2011 to 2013 thankfully no debt now and clear of these ****s.. But i saw a article about reclaiming interest charges if you had multiple loans and kept missing payments. Resulting in going with other companies to replay the original loan and getting yourself into more debt.. So i though i would give it try for nothing.

Wrote a email highlighting there flaws and how they "trapped me" worked out how much they owed me in interest by asking for my account history added 8% on top for interest and waited... Then after 8 weeks in witch is there time to come up with a solution they asked for more time . I thought this is pointless so i investigated more till i got in touch with the financial ombudsman . Filled a couple forms in and was gunna send it off today. Then boom a email appeared from Wonga .Basically saying they did everything they could but could have helped more . £890 is now on its way to PokerMillers bank account . So its worth trying if you had any. By all accounts Wonga are paying millions back. Good luck

PMS how much did the FOS cost you, its normally £350? if you had instigated the Ombudsman claim through the company itself after following their complaints procedure they would have had to pay the fee on your behalf

Good work, FOS normally expect you to have exhausted the company's complaints procedure first, so presun#mably they were slowing timing or not complying with their own procedures.

Would imaging in such cases FOS charged the company directly.

Good to see its working in cases where people have been unfairly exploited!

Despicable company. Sent threatening letters from made up solicitors to frighten people who were late paying or who'd welched on them.

    Glad you got sorted PMS

Thanks guys. I was stupid i admit, going with them. Had some issues back in 2011/2013 been through a massive operation just got back to work on short time and was pretty pissed off to be honest. Operation hasn't really worked now iam stuck with alot of pain .On the up side after 11 years redundancies came at my place of work .With me struggling i snapped there hand off, payed off 90% of my bills and looked to claim ESA. Wasn't a issue getting it i have 2.5 kilos of titanium holding my spine together .So here i am walking barely but on a better financial footing . It was just something i saw about clawing these charges back so i though i would try to help anybody who went with these leeches .
