Valium is a drug you build up a tolerance to. I've known people who can easily take over 100 a day (5mg tablets) and function perfectly normally.

I'll probably be accused of being a 'tree hugging lefty' or something here but I really don't think bringing in kneecapping is a very progressive way of dealing with crime, whether it's violent or not.
