    West Bromwich Albion

Looks like Tony Pulis's (excellent) talent for getting the best out of average players could well be tested next season.

The heavy reliance on players that are fast approaching their sell by date, Darren Fletcher, Chris Brunt and Gareth McAuley may prove a step too far next season whilst the useless Rondon is fast becoming a Premier League joke.
I think the whole country bar Birmingham knew about Nacer Chadli's penchant for starting off like a steam train then disappearing into oblivion. It beggars belief.

They have a top goalkeeper who they have been very lucky to keep hold of. I'm surprised the vast majority of bigger clubs haven't brought the goalkeeper that is single handedly keeping them in the Premier League.

It could be interesting times for them.

    Thoughts?

If they want to to stay in the Prem, they should keep Pulis. He will do what he did this season. Get points early and hang on at the end when the pressure is off. If they want to do better, they'd have to risk a different manager. But Pulis will not take them a level above nor make them entertaining

They broke their record of consecutive blank sheets yesterday by going 5 games without a goal

They are light years ahead of Wolves and i expect Pulis to improve their squad, some of the ageing players may go, but he will find and sign adequate replacements. His main concern really should be signing a goalscorer, but the same could be said at many clubs around all four divisions.

Couldn't agree more, I think he has done a great job for them. Just look were they are in the table and then imagine where they would be if they had a half decent regular goal scorer. Got a lot of time for the Baggies me, a serious club with a long history.

    That's the thing about Pulis.
Some fans are so far up their own ar$e they don't realise how good they have it.

A club that size simply will not get a better manager.

Woody, we all know you have a lot of time for them, we've all seen the feckin bobble hat you brought
