With the signings of Davies and Wisdom done is that our defence sorted now? More to come or can we concentrate on other areas now?
Suppose left back still depends on Forsyth's recovery or Lowe's ability to stay fit but we do look stronger imo.

No doubt Norman and Windsor will help and a few will be heading out, but I am far from sure that "the defence is sorted". I suspect that post clear out we may need a young back up CD unless Rawson can step up.

Probably our best signing since thorne, an actual position we needed sorting since wisdom left the first time. Weve had baird covering it last season ffs.

We need a left back and a winger to replace russell, someone with an end product would be nice. With the back 4 sorted our midfield dont have to drop off because of a useless defence, our wingers wont have to cover two braindead full backs.

Midfield is good with johnson, thorne (if fit) and one other maybe bryson. Vydra up top with ince and a better winger that needs buying, the one from birmingham? Che adams being touted i think.

Offload martin, bent, hughes, blackman etc. A young strimer on loan from a prem club if possible.

I'm really struggling to use the word 'strimer' without resorting to a broad west country accent.

I'm just struggling!! At least Rowett is building from the back, two good signings I'd say but time will tell.

What worries me is Wisdom a Rowett or a Mel signing!

From what I here Rowett has the final say on players, Mel has learned his lesson! To be fair it wasn't Mel choosing the players before, it was him buying what his advisers suggested and they have gone!!

Wisdom seems more like a rowett player to me, a strong fit no nonsense type defender, plats for the team etc. Same with curtis davies aswell, a more of a leader type figure head and a workhorse.

If it was upto mel wed have 11 tom inces, not saying ince is ooor far from it, but we need work horses and flair players, cant have one and not the other as weve proved over the past 3 seasons.

I may be wrong here, often am, but I dont remember Andre Wisdom ever having plats (sic) when with Liverpool or ourselves on loan. Always seemed to have a very conservative hairstyle.
