    Ban the Sun from Hillsborough

Seeing as the Hillsborough disaster families asked for them to be banned from Anfield, wouldn't it be a decent gesture to be one of the first clubs to ban them - following on from Everton and Chester - rather than wait for the rest to ban them and seem to be pressured into doing it.

    Really?
Isn't your football club telling you that you can't read a particular paper going too far? Reguardless of people's opinions of that paper.

Isn't it about banning their reporters from Hillsborough?, if not I've got it wrong, people can read what they like for me.

Correct Aussie. I personally think we should be in-step with Liverpool FC as much as possible to show some respect to the families.

Isn't banning there reporters sending out the message that the club doesn't want fans to read the paper?
As you can tell, that's the message I got.
The sun was wrong to print what it did!
The police was wrong to open the gate etc etc
    Ban the police?
Mistakes were made, lives were lost.
Learning from those mistakes would be the best way of showing respect to those who died .
I'm no lover of the sun but the fact so many people believed out of hand what they reported tells its own story.
