The old c@nt has pulled out now hes realised its four days on the sauce. Back on my own again. I have mates doon so I will meet them on and off but a festival on my own sounds like an adventure

I have had a mare. My hotel shut down indefinitely. The c@nts. Ill tell you something its nae easy to find a room a month before when the guts of 90k folk are descending on the area. Phoned 22 hotels begging for a single room.

Managed to get one in Loughbourgh which is 9 miles away. Ashby is nine miles. Its worked out better. There are 19 pubs so theres Thursdays challenge. There is also a service bus which goes through Castle Donington and Donington Park which takes 25 mins so theres three taxis saved. Should be good.

Was starting to worry I would have to camp

My work “mate” is now reconsidering, am going and camping myself. 2 mates coming down for the Sunday and al drive home after Ozzy with the 2 of them. Know another couple boys going down so will probably meet them n campsite for a beer. Im actually looking forward to going myself as al get everything done at my pace, see the bands i want to see without compromising, stand where i want to stand and am also a big fan o my own company. Will speak away to the people around me in campsite and just chill.

Head to the main entrance where the museum is. On the main road you can catch a bus for pennies to Castle Donington which is the other side of East Midlands. Its a fair walk without pavements on some point so bus is advisable. There are a couple of decent boozers there(the Apiary has good beer and the Castle Inn is usually rocking) The hotels usually have deals for festival goers too. Cheap food and beers etc. Its a cracking wee town. Ill be heading there on friday morning

We will have to get a beer if we are on our own.

Of course, if you were wearing your vinylize sunglasses then incredibly gorgeous bits o' stuff would beg you to share their hotel room for the night.

They're nae cheap but they save you a f'uckin fortune on hotel bills.

    Nah min.

If you really want them made out of a particular album then it takes a wee bit longer than that.

When it come's to bits o' stuff though, you can tell them it's whatever album that'll impress the knickers off of them.

I've a fair few in stock (and just made myself a "brubeck")
Come up and have a look at them next time you're in Aberdeen (no sales pressure but I could make them with the lens colour of your choice while you wait)

Or if you fancy a bit of neck biting then get them with teeth

The Brubeck is my own pair of sunnies, the toothless version though
