Went to see an Irish punk ish band called The Murder Capital at the Mash house in Edinburgh last week.
They were brilliant! Their first album is well worth a listen.
Another decent Irish band along the same genre I’ve not seen yet, came across them when listening to TMC on Spotify, is Fontaine’s DC.
Edit: just noticed I’d already mentioned them on this thread but in my defence, I hadn’t seen them live at that point

Na, it’s very mild punk. Really good gig band. There’s a few decent Irish post punk type bands out the now.
Off to see the Cult tonight at the O2 Academy in Glasgow. Should be good.
Brilliant gig at a cracking venue last night. All the old Cult classics. Ian Astbury still got it.

How was the concert? Did he play Roads To Moscow for you? I didn’t “get” the last few verses until I saw an interview with Al and this was one of many songs that he explained the meaning of. What a great story teller.
