The worrying thing for me is large decline in both home and away support not just youngsters but middle age guys. The area where I stand in the covered terracing maybe 6 or 7 years ago would have regularly 25 to 30 lads who also travelled to away games this season it's been 4 or 5 of us and even we have been disheartened by the past season. Not sure what the answer is but it needs addressing asap

Yes the days of the likes of big Russ Wilson leading the middle - age guys with his long, drawn - out Blue Armmmmy chant have disappeared like snaw off a dyke.

We somehow need to get that feel good factor back at Palmerston again . It's really important we get the youngsters back who can help create an atmosphere . A singing section behind the goals is a start and maybe somebody could provide the JB's with a small flag each .
If the club need any ideas then just look at the atmosphere at games throughout Europe on a weekly basis . Obviously with any pyro

The Queens Trust actually handed out to the Junior Blues members a few weeks ago plastic rattles and maracas but mini - flags is a good idea also.

Was that the rattles that were handed out at the free entry game?

Queens could use some of the money from junior blues season ticket sales to buy flags in bulk and issue them to the under 16's . The 5ft x 3ft ones you see for sale outside Hampden at cup finals and international matches are not expensive to produce . It keeps the kids interested and adds some much needed colour to the stadium .
An official singing section behind the goals is a good idea . It wouldn't work anywhere else

I think that if we have some stirring music with sing-along Queens songs before the game as it will get the supporters in the mood to begin with. It will need to be Queens related songs such as the Railway song, when the Queens go marching in etc. with the words printed on sheets and handed to all home fans as they come into the ground. This may require some local talent recording these, some of the fan clubs or even getting schools involved with some choir like efforts. We need to do something to improve the atmosphere which is currently funereal.
