    Raith Relegated to League One

Raith Rovers lost 4-3 on penalties vs. Brechin City after 4-4 on aggregate AET.

Alloa vs. Airdrie finished 1-1 on aggregate AET and Alloa won 4-3 on penalties too.

Alloa vs Brechin in the Play-Off Final now.

Very bad news for Scottish football, two full-time clubs losing to part-time teams is scary. At least this gives Queens a better chance of finishing above the victor and Dumbarton next season.

It will be interesting what the odds are for all the Championship clubs for winning the title before a ball is kicked in earnest.

Not only the loss of senior Scottish sides but also a useful manager in Hughes consigned to the scrapheap. I wonder what the ICT board are thinking now after failing to back him after the cup success?

Surprised that there is not more relief from this board that Queens have escaped relegation.

For all the criticisms of Naysmith and the players that he brought in, we could easily have been in that dogfight with Brechin.

There is certainly some relief no doubt. Who would have guessed that Raith would drop down to League One.

Wouldn't mind Raith's keeper Cuthbert joining Queens though he has had a few injuries this past season - cannot see Mr Naysmith going with the young boy Leighfield as back up to Robinson.

I've always liked Cuthbert. He would be first choice over Robinson. As you said, he did have a few injuries recently. I doubt that he'd want to play in League One. Brennan and Penksa are their other keepers that I'm not so sure about.
