I want us to sign players like we did we we got Keane, Mee, Tarkovski, Heaton and Gray. - Players that have potential that will at least net us a healthysell on!

Not interested in fancy names on massive salaries - we haven't come this far to so successfully to start effing about with a winning system. We might be able to spend a bit more on prospects now and take a few more risks but I don't want us to change the formula.

Sean Dyche will be looking to sign some talented players in the summer transfer window and the latest name on their wishlist is Barry Bannan, according to the Daily Mirror reporting via the Sky Sports News Live Transfer Blog [Monday 29th May, 08:12 GMT].
Barry Bannan has been one of Sheffield Wednesday’s top performers over the past two seasons and he could be tempted by a Premier League switch.

The 27-year-old joined Sheffield Wednesday in 2015 after spells with Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

The Scotland international is a left-footed central midfielder who is renowned for his passing ability.

Old Boy's Network suggesting happy returns for Jay Rod and Ingsy.

I suppose that given the back up of Barnes, Vokes and Agyei, then the risk might be worth taking as long as the prices reflected the gamble.

Both players know they would be looked after properly. Ingsy's charity work earned him a lot of respect around here and of course it's home for Jay Rod.

I would love to know what SD's take on this rumour is?

Both are quality players regardless of the fact of their past careers with us. They both of course have chequered injury history and we are not in the position that we can risk vast swathes of dosh on players that might not feature just for the sake of a nostalgia trip.

SD is pretty calculated and hard nosed enough not to be swayed yay or nay by that and will surely look at the reality of their medical histories and prognoses and balance that against value.
