O/T Sir Roger Moore has died

I remember him playing cousin Beau in "Maverick". James Garner (Bret) had quit the show. Rog replaced him, albeit playing a different character. Moore couldn't do an American accent so his character had supposedly spent a lot of time in England.
In fact I remember him in everything he did.
Like Monty I never rated him as a serious actor but he was entertaining.

That would be The Persuaders with Tony Curtis wouldn't it Brin?

Yes and Curtis was supposed to be such a pain in the rrse that Moore refused to make another series. According to Michael Caine RM's favourite food was baked beans and he would even eat them cold from the tin.
