Looks like we are finally signing the right type of player. The type that had Jackie signed we wouldn't have got relegated in the first place.
Keatings Scobbie Stanton MacDonald King McMullan etc all players who know their way round the Scottish divisions. Players that will be busting a gut to get us up.
Optimistic now, just need Ray to get the formation right, get them gelled as soon as possible.

We wouldn't have got relegated with a decent first choice keeper that season, a Cammy Bell etc

Ray made some good signings last season, really liking his business this summer though

Speculation right enough but do you honestly think a keeper alone would have saved us? Maybe. I'm not so sure. Anyway, looking much more promising. But fast start is a must imo

i know he kinda flattered to deceive last year for them but he is highly regarded by some. unlikely to play much this season due to lafferty and goncalves but still if he was to leave them there would be a couple of clubs in the top divison looking at him or hed move to Europe. if there was any chance of us getting a striker from hearts the likelihood would be connor sammon as hes surplus to requirements there.
couldnt see johnsen at tannadice tbh
Connor sammon was speaking to tommy wright yesterday at loch leven larder 😉

Could The Mighty Quinn be the best player never to have played for Dundee United?

Maybe better if he doesn't come cos there's going to be so much expectation on his shoulders.

not at all, it all makes perfect sense, proven defender, no nonsense, currently without a club, been training with us for some amount of weeks, a massive improvement over Donaldson and dare i say it better than Durnan and Edge? Shouldnt command that big a wage, every day i say 10 hail marys that Donaldson f ucks off and we can free up the ridic £2k a week hes currently on, every day...

He had offers from the Premiership but wanted to come somewhere where there was something to play for, as opposed to fighting relegation.

Surely Quinn must be getting a bit disillusioned with us by now. Granted our striker crisis needed dealt with but he's watching players being signed while he isn't. Is he even still training with us.?
