All this Portuuese stuff is OK just as long as they don't try to make us drink Vinho Verde. The epitomy of pi$$ water!
He's rumoured to be close to joining the club, we will see once the new head coach is appointed.

It's a position of need but no idea on what kind of player he is. Familiarity with Santo could be positive or negative.
That the thing when signing players that are not known to many over here. You may unearth a gem, or you could end up with a total carthorse.
When he came on against Rotherham at the start of the season i thought Wolves had signed a gem, but he showed so much promise and then the total opposite, he didn't look bothered, didn't want to fight for a place. Started diving all over the place, even Forest gave him very little game time. Says it all really.
Without trying to sound like I'm sticking up for the modern day footballer, I wonder what it must be like for a 22 year old leaving a sunny city in Portugal for the city of Wolverhampton to pursue a career which is probably dictated by an untouchable agent.
Bit of a come down, a cultural shock and probably missing a family (why would the family come over here for a loan move?)
Like I said Teixeira didn't exactly help his cause but in a small, small way I can understand the lack of ambition from a player so young who gets thrust into a situation possibly beyond his control?
Regardless, he was lightweight and a disappointment.
I wouldn't be surprised if his agent tends to ignore Tex's phone calls these days.
