I wonder if Jackett managed to claim Job seekers allowance.

    Or was he misled?

Just read the article - been through this....the overall situation of the club's finances and miniscuel "championship" budget was to blame.

The only correct "opinion" was that once NW culled the squad and the money left to replace all those players... it was an impossible job.

Stubbs inherited that impossible job but had the bottle to have a go at sorting it out....and with the money he had he made a decent fist of it. Using the loan system and the scrapings from the Freeby barrel - he also did well to get Izzy.

He also identified that only by battening down the hatches and playing ( let's say ) the Burton way had we any chance but that intelligence wasn't recognised by either fans or directors.

It was an impossible task this year - full stop !

With only one chance of survival - the plan 'A'... and defending well. The defenders Stubbs inherited were sh!te and dropped - the first window would have sorted that out but - as they say - the rest is history...

Stubbs didn't hand an impossible job over to Mr Millwall.... he simply did the best he could with it....and did make progress......KJ just bottled it....

Stubbs just got on with the job and didn't complain about his lot ( to us the fans ) he did his best and that's what management is about....

    KJ just abdicated !....Coward !

Propaganda again fro the local press - suckling up to their meal tickets...lol
