    Moult

Rumour has it Norwich are interested in our star man and are willing to pay £800,000. Do pray we don't accept but think we will need a miracle to hold on to him

    £800,000? I suspect we'd grab it.

and so we should £800,000 for a 25 year old with a year left on his contract. The board would need shot if that was refused. I think moults been a great asset but we need to be realistic.

If there's substance to that rumour and £800k's the figure, then it's a no brainer. Good financial return for us, great move for him, keeps him away from The Sevco, and we cannot afford to let him walk next season as a free agent. As much as I'd like him in the trenches next season, it just ain't viable. But, let's see if Burrows and the Board stick to their guns and get healthy money for the transfer.

Maybe paper talk. What does the £800k comprise? If its genuine then we should go for it. If he is going to leave then the sooner the better. We don't want our best striker leaving just before the window closes and too late to source a replacement.

We'll bite their hand off for a guaranteed 800k...we should be insisting on a sell-on clause though, even a modest percentage would give us a huge return given English fees if he's a success.

As much as I'd like to see Moult stay with us, we should bite the hand off them if the rumours true.
