Come to Derby and get a bargain in their "Player Sale". All surplus stock must go!

Not sure that's entirely fair OTR - £ 2.5m for someone who is not a starting player for a mid table championship team and who only has 1 year left on his contract seems pretty good to me: although something does nag a little in that he could get his mojo together as he has the ability - just doesn't show it often enough

Signed for 500k sold for 2.5m is good business

Hes another bang average player that went missing for 2 thirds of the season, and cant defend for s*** either, and does little in the attacking front either,, good bye and thanks for all those 2 good games you gave us.

If the fees are right thats

Hughes 5m (plus vydra debt waived) and cost nothing in terms of a fee.
Ince 10m, was sighned for 4.8m which is a 50% profit
Christie 2.5m, was signed for 500k which is a 125% profit
Hendrick was sold for 10m and cost nothing in terms of a fee.
Martin we got a 3m loan fee for aswell,, if all is true thats 30m raked back, which doesnt leave us in that big of a red tbh

And if bents fee is true (2m to a turkish club) that would be bloody good. Leaves us with just shackell, blackman, russell, keogh and possibly weimann to shift off the books before the summers out,, get rid of 2 and and look to ditch the others in the january bargain bin.

Left back, winger and central midfielder and its been a good first window for rowza.

I'm not sure I agree with your % calculations DCFCArmy - but I agree with your post. It's very good business in terms of getting out players for a good profit, we just need to bring some more in before we pat anyone on the back.

If he does improve and f=gets sold on then at least it seems we get 15% of the fee.

Rowett likes Russell, so he aint going anywhere, 1 of Keogh or Shackell to go, most likely keogh.

We wont be getting a left back, as we have Fozzy, Olsson and Lowe, one of whom may go out (probably Lowe on loan.)

We are in the market for a holding midfielder - I think the young player we signed a while ago is the likely winger!

There has been a rumour that Shackell might be off to the States, Swale. Houston Dynamo or FC Dallas perhaps given his wife's background. He's about the right age for one last lucrative deal and perhaps a career in coaching.
Personally I'd prefer to keep Keogh but replace him as captain. Just my opinion.

We missed out on Michael Keane. Could have cashed in with a £30m bonus if we had bothered to sign him when we had the chance.
