    John O'Shea

I hope there's nothing in the rumour of him being linked to Wolves. He may have plenty of experience, but he has looked dead on his footballing legs for a few seasons now.

    Let's hope not.

Legs gone in the Premier League = Legs gone in the Championship.

Yep. 8 more league matches and an earlier entry into the League Cup. Time for him to go to a smaller country or hang up the boots.

He only wants one more year so he can be considered for Russia 2018. He can do one!

I recommend going and playing in Russia for that last year then.
At least he will get used to the weather.

I really do not think this would be a bad move. Are his legs gone/going, most likely yes, but the experience and the ablity to organize those around him might offset that. Worth a one year deal for me.

One thing in the pro column is that he will work hard to make sure he plays because he wants to go to a World Cup and keep his international spot. But I am not sure he will come cheaply and the money could probably be better spent elsewhere IMO

Where though Mich, where, with the money we have to offer, there are a lot of highly priced, mediocre players out there.

O'Shea has signed a new contract at Sunderland. So this should put the rumour of him joining Wolves to bed.
