    IRN - BRU CUP IRISH and WELSH ENTRANTS

    Irish Republic sides Sligo Rovers and Bray Wanderers will join Belfast sides Crusaders and Linfield plus Welsh teams The New Saints and Gap Connah's Quay in the second round of this year's competition.

    As well as the clubs from Eire, Northern Ireland, Wales and representatives from both Highland and Lowland Leagues all Premiership under 20 Colt teams to be included in the draw.
    Personally I don't find the prospect of a home tie against Partick Thistle under 20's too exciting !

    We've never played Sligo Rovers before but did face Bray Wanderers back in 1995 .......
