I am fairly certain that footballers get paid on monthly basis hence salary but it is common practice, especially in the press, to quote the basic amount they get paid on a weekly basis.

Wow its been a long time since I was a regular poster on this board (I think it was back in about '06 when I first joined Footymad actually).
Now then, as for the Ingerland or whatever our latest nickname is, Im hoping we will qualify for the World cup as winners of this group. And lets be honest this is another poor group, we will be found out when it comes to the finals, nothing ever changes.

I do like Gordon as a footy pundit, he does make me laugh and I did think he was a good choice for your team when he got the job.
But what do I know eh, Im from Ingerland & Yorkshire ?
