That`s an excellent signing from Uwe Rosler. Yes we should have been looking to sign him.

Was told very recently that Fleetwood had signed Harrison Biggins from Stocksbridge Park Steels....yet to be confirmed.

    Here`s some of Conors`s goals.
Make your own mind up whether we ought to have signed him.
Link is 2mins and 47 secs long.

Some great finishes and he's not afraid to take an early shot. Hopefully we will keep tight to him first game of the season. We don't want a first game like against mk dons a couple of years ago.

Will be interesting to see who has the best scoring record at the end of the season. Ball at RUFC or McAleny at Fleetwood. Adds a bit of spice to the season's opener as well.

No doubt he will score against us first game of the season then.

This lad seems more an out and out scorer - we will need to close him down for the whole game

Someone Stubbs polished from the rough diamond as U21 Everton’s coach....

"Stubbs steered the U-21s to the semi-finals of their league play-offs – only to lose 3-2 to an excellent Spurs side on Monday night.

The Blues – who were previously unbeaten in 16 games – twice dragged themselves back level through goals from.......

    Conor McAleny......

and Chris Long but ultimately left White Hart Lane empty-handed after Jonathan Obika headed an 89th winner for the home side."

These are the players better managers bring to the club and even better managers nurture during their formative years....just what this club needs.....

    Aaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhh

FFS leave this constant whining alone.

    Stubbs has gone.......

He was that good that he walked straight into another job..............or maybe not!

PS this is from someone who supports Hib's as my Scottish team and have done since meeting a true Hib's supporting family on holiday 1976.

Information is information - are we being selective or censored.....this lad played for Stubbs .....scored .....and played well under Stubbs.....and - with that relationship may have come to Rotherham......whining NO simple facts !

Old saying - "What can't speak can't lie"......

That information was a cutting from a general search about the kid. I can't help it that Stubbs brought him through the EVERTON academy.....I didn't know and / or care tbh.

But he did....and that's precisely what I wanted for Rotherham United....as any good supporter would / does....we just happened to have it and threw it away.

What's the difference between refering to Stubbs and these FEW examples within this one typical thread ?

"It was awful having Steve Evans as manager."

    "Apart from Warnock"

    "by Ronnie Moore"

    "Moore and Evans"

"Evans given the tools and the money"

There isn't any except selective memory and bias interpretation....together with the oversimplification of complex issues that are a universal fault of these threads.

The fact that Warnock damaged us far more than he's been given credit for.

    And

EVO....Love him ( as I do ) or hate him - he brought in the buy a team per year philosophy that we are still suffering from NOW !** NR & AS we're brought in to change this philosophy.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday btw
