    Baggies back in the day!

    Its possible you boys have already seen this but I hadn't. Bloody brilliant, brought back so many memories. Oh how times have changed.

    Thanks for posting this great vidio,brought back a lot of happy memories.Of collecting autographs at Spring rd and watching the training,had to look twice looked like me and my twin .Good to see all the old players,Alex Jackson scored the first Albion goal i saw.Used to have my breakfast in Teds cafe,when i was a young GPO telephone engineer apprentice.
    On another note have been meaning to ask how young Woody is getting on.

    It is a lovely film.
    The lad with the autograph book looking through the fence is a mate of mine, his name is Pete. About five years ago I bought him the DVD for Christmas, I don't think it was on the net then. He was dead chuffed because it meant he could show it to his family.

    How times have changed. Hardly a superstar lifestyle was it? I wonder what sort of money players of that ilk would be earning today.

    It was all terribly civilised. I didnt recognise that was Don Howe. I wonder if that was the same house he lived in in later life? I think he always lived in Wolvo.

    He moved to a large older detached house off Goldthorne hill,often used to see him when i worked from the Lanesfiedl telecom dept.We used pass his house on our way to Villiars st cafe,good old days.

    Thanks for asking about Euan mate. He is a little better, good days and bad days depending on the depression. He does seem to be getting out a bit more though.
