Is it just me who finds that bizarre?

If we've signed him, why not announce it now like the others? If it's just a trial to check fitness, are we going to announce it was cancelled (if it is ATS, say) if he can't hack it? And if he has a brilliant pre-season but hasn't signed, what's to stop his agent hawking him elsewhere? That's never minding the fact anyone with a camera can turn up to training and essentially announce it anyway...it just seems a very strange thing say in public.
