Havent seen the lad play( Bostock that is)but how about some academy players to warm the bench...? ....

.Otherwise whats the point of bringing them on and never playing them?

On the new version of the official site, I see that they only have 15 players down as members of the First Team squad, compared to 20-odd last season. This might just be an interim thing, while they decide which of the Development Group are given numbers, but it might also confirm that TM thinks he can't play too many youngsters at this level, and that there will be further experienced signings.
Only Wharton and Tomlinson are in the squad, besides those who established themselves last season.
Mahoney is not there at all!

I believe Tomlinson will play a part this season as will Wharton
I cannot see the clamber for defenders
At right back nyambe is our first choice so why bring in someone experienced to sit on the bench
Travis can come in if needed
Williams the same Doyle can come in if needed
Centrally mulgrew(currently)lenihan,ward and Wharton
If someone leaves then maybe until then attention should be on the forward line
Just Graham,stokes and a very inexperienced mansell this area should be a priority.

That must be right, Robin. I can't see that we will go into the season with only two experienced strikers, so there has to be something in the pipeline there.
