Did we get offered 2 million I mean really ?
If we really did get offered £2M for him and we turned it down, then we were idiots.
So I fully expect that we DID turn down £2M for him.
We exercised the option to extend his original contract by a further year. I don't understand all the griping about having to pay Huddersfield. We have had a very good player for nothing and we still get some money when he leaves. They get what they should have rightfully had when he signed for us. We weren't shafted in the deal like we were with Bowery.
He cost 175k not nothing
