We did get a striker on loan. Our super duper head of recruitment software came up with Morris who was injured for ages before he could play then turned out to be a academy player. No aggression, no goal threat.

Morris was brought in to play alongside Ward, not replace him.

Anyone thought that maybe the contract ending may mean that we don't have to pay Huddersfield a percentage?, May be we have been clever signed him up to a new contract meaning we get all the cash of the sale ?

We got him on a free transfer...we may sell him for £1M and come away with £500K, which hopefully will be spent on a striker to replace Danny.

We exercised the option to extend his original contract by a further year. I don't understand all the griping about having to pay Huddersfield. We have had a very good player for nothing and we still get some money when he leaves. They get what they should have rightfully had when he signed for us. We weren't shafted in the deal like we were with Bowery.
