Another operation for my nephew James Today.

James has been through the mill and today he is having his left hand fused. His hand is bent at the wrist, caused by being in a coma for almost 6 months, they call it a horrible term called spastic.Last year they tried to reverse the tendons to straighten it,but didn't work. So all the best for our James 2 o clock this afternoon.

Hope it has gone well Lloyd. The lad deserves good fortune.
In one way he is lucky: he has a fabulous family supporting him.

Thanks for all the good wishes. The operation went well,we had a bit of scare the wound started leaking and the cast was full of blood. This morning they said they would take the cast off and might have to go back into surgery.Just had the call everything ok,the wet cast had made the blood loss look worse than it was.James is in a good mood and has had 4 pieces of toast and will be disharged this morning.Big thanks to B'ham orthopedic hospital.
