Happy with our start. Need to get in the queue for Oxford away when they go on sale. Everyone and his dog say they want to go to Wigan over the Bank Holiday.

I wonder whether Wigan will keep away ticket allocation to a minimum.

If they have any sense they'll cash in and give us a full allocation.

Having said that I think some people might be expecting mega spending when ME takes over, something he clearly stated he didn't intend to do. KJ seems extremely level headed in his interviews. Fingers crossed we can build piece by piece.

Very sensible way ahead. I do hope we have a Goalkeeper signed up by the time I eat my WLP Sausage and Chips on Saturday however.

No goalie yet, apparently we keep being linked to Brighton's. How was the game? I get the impression KJ is training them hard and it looks like Wigan haven't even started their pre-season yet.

Thought we moved the ball crisper and sharper, none of the tip tappy across the back rubbish which Cook favoured. They've been doing double training sessions most days working with a ball and it showed Saturday I felt. Conor seemed to me to be enjoying his football again, I don't think he looked like that towards the end of Cook's tenure. Liked the look of the loanee left back, linked up well with KB. Havant were pretty poor in all honesty especially defensively, but I came away very optimistic (which I haven't done all the times I have been there for the annual pre season friendly). Think we will sign a keeper this week but who I haven't got a clue. Being linked with a Spurs one again plus Walton.
