    Bradley Dack

With a money bid on the table we are at the negotiating stage
Looking good to get him through the door but as good a player as he is at this level I have heard some unsavoury things
Are they true?because I must admit this is the first I have heard of it
If it is the case do we need another with a suspect temperament.

Hes been a good player for Gillingham, but it does make me wonder why no bigger clubs have ever come in for him.

    Deal done
Great signing at this level and we have spent £750 000 plus add ons as well
Didn't think we would see that in league one.
Things are beginning to look promising.

I think the signs have been positive for quite a while Robin. Going down could really be a positive thing. Winning games, more of a positive atmosphere around the whole club, and some decent players coming in. Every signing so far (I hope and believe) will add something. I still expect the likes of Mahoney, Mulgrew, Steele etc to leave. But we are spending money. Its also sending out a real message to the rest of the league. We are very serious.

    Welcome back Champs !
Yes , things look to be on the up, all down to TM ? Like others I had the good feeling about TM from the off, despite his failure to 'rescue' us from the drop. I think this 'shock' may be just what was needed, rather than languishing at the bottom of the 'second div.' A stint in the third won't do us any arm in bringing some of our support 'down to earth'.
I for one am quite looking forward to it.
I am going to happily trust to your judgement upon our recent recruits albeit Pete Whittingham is one I know of, and in that I am really hoping that at last we have found a decent playmaker.
My only fear is that a tempting offer doesn't come in for Darragh, as I really think we may have a future gem on our hands, and the lad can really stamp himself upon our squad this coming term. if he hasn't done already.
Not too fussed on young Connor, he's some way off the finished article and has a bit to go to convince me that he's got it all there. Yes as TM has pointed out (to him), this move may prove to be too early and his undoing. But his heads been turned, so let's move him on.
It's good to hear the positive thoughts on the forum, it's been a god awful long time coming. I just really hope the majority of the stay away's can creep back and give the team their support once again. Plus the 'younger brigade' can shake off their lust for that Prem league, and with that learn to enjoy lower league footie that's 'more honest'.
