Less than a month to go

Slightly worried we only have 4 new signings with less than a month before our first competitive game and less than 2 weeks before our first friendly. Hope this is not another last minute "lets sign somebody" season.

I think Gary Naysmith will be ok with his Anglo network, he just needs to tap into his Toffee conections.
The current crop of young players coming up at the Mersey blues have talent, pace and can take a kicking, however they will never see the first team as the club just spent 60 million on three players in a month. Having a sugar daddy lets you buy big, but stifles any youngsters getting a chance.
If Queens box clever the Dutch manager is known to want his youngsters to be getting competitive experience in a meaningful league, thus a handful of good quality players available with no wage bill, what's not to like.
The Queens have and always will rely on loan players to get them further down the road, it's no disgrace it just makes total economic sense.
The Queens Everton connection is alive and well, God bless John C (the winger to watch) the bringer of glory to the Doonhamers.

I asked Naysmith at the supporters meeting on Tuesday if he's got contacts down South . Says he has but the problem is they're 2-3 weeks behind us in preseason training and he'd need to go and watch them when they eventually get up to speed

Possibility we could play Everton for our centenary game in 2019 . That's if Naysmith is still here

I have mentioned Everton as possible opponents, whether the management is still in place or not. A much better and bigger pull than Leeds.
