The thing I like is that we are getting the deals done early. We have visited the scenario where all the incoming deals fall through, and then your best players leave on deadline day!

What I dont understand is that if there is a budget,why we didnt make a bigger effort to keep the promising youngsters like Mahoney,and instead try to offload more of the expensive old stalwarts that are still on bumper pay packets because their contracts havent run out. Surely they are taking the space and place the youngsters should be getting?
