    Pre Season training

According to press reports, the Scotsman, James McFadden and Brian McLean have joined Queens for pre season training. An interesting couple of potential new signings for the club especially McFadden and for combining with Dobbie which could be an awesome combination. Discuss!!

Hopefully will sign these two players. McLean has played for Falkirk, Motherwell, Dundee Utd and Hibs and is a right back or centre back. This would give cover in defence alongside Brownlie, Fordyce, Mercer and Rooney. McFadden as mentioned would be a good foil for Dobbie and Lyle too and he looked sharp at the end of the season with Well.

I would love to see McFadden signing for us and this would constitute the marque signing that some are desperate for. Imagine the creativity he would bring to the midfield which is something that we are crying out for. Please, please, please!!

Would love to see him at Palmerston but we would also need to have a mid field that did the defensive work for him , do we have this at the moment ?

I think that both Rankin and Jacobs will provide the defensive donkey work required to accommodate Faddy.
