We are going to be heavily reliant on Williams at left-back. I wonder if one of the loan-players TM has talked about will be in that role.
Another thing I like about Mowbray is that at least most of his comments contain something concrete - even on the transfer issues which most managers seem so coy about.

He is filling me with confidence something I havnt had since bowyer had the team that should of got at least a play off place
I just hope we don't end up disappointed again because the past few years have been filled with doom and gloom and a bit of positivity would do the power of good.

Another excellent piece by Mowbray on the official site. Very realistic about pitches and styles in D.1, and also recognising the fans' point-of-view.

    Mowbray,as a down-to-earth Yorkshireman does seem sensible and deals with the real world,rather than"talking up"the agenda,like Coyle.
At least he has a structure and a plan.Whether it will work or not, time will tell.
Interestingly enough, reading about the over-inflated value of present day footballers, with Manure and Paris St.Germain "apparently"ready to test Barcelonas resolve with a £187 million offer for Neymar -his "buy-out"clause value- this could induce Venkys to play a long-term waiting game-i.e.give it another 20 or 30 years to see if they can get their money back from transfer fees for "higher-end"value players bought/or academy-produced,albeit over an extended time period.

Current financial trends in football mildly positive for them, irrespective of our current plight.....in an inflation-sum game.

I feel pride is keeping them as owners
Let's be honest they will never get their money back and any ambitions of a premier league return day in 5 seasons time is purely stuff of fantasy
Ridiculous finacial fair play rules for the championship(few teams only)
Will dictate our spending if we are to get promotion .
