Bet there are only a handful of wide men with a better goals ratio....

I'm not sure that we will have. It's quite depressing to see our two flair players leave and the dross remain. This is beginning to remind me of when Pickering over stretched himself. Ironically Rowett was one sacrificed.

Good money and we can use it to better us in other areas.

But i think its time for some on the mel forum (dcfc fans uk 1) to issue an apology to those of us who knew we were in trouble ffp wise,, some of us even got permanently banned (address banned) for airing for what has now been proven correct,, no holding my breath though.

Always said we were in trouble with that and just glad weve done our best to get out of it,, id sooner be in league 1 than risk the clubs future chasing the prem gold,, the prem is crap anyway,, the only good thing about it is winning promotion the previous season.

Also,, its good to see us building a team of hard workers rather than a bunch of flairy flat track bullies.

Hughes isnt even that good, and we banked 5m and wiped our debt for vydra as well, glad hes gone tbh, he wasnt ever going to get us up, too lightweight.

Ince despite his goals has sent us backwards,, he arrived in 2015 when we were top 2 if not top, we then went on one of the worst runs from a side sitting top around February, we finished 8th,,, he went missing for the playoff games last season,, and we missed out on the playoffs this season just gone,, not really all that great a record since he arrived tbh.

Signed for 4.8m,, sold for 8m,, good business imo.

Regarding jeopardizing the club's future....that was never going to be an issue, yes we pushed the boat out a bit, but we are a big club and we we always aware we could sell if we needed to.

Be interesting to see how many we let go though cause the squad is still way too big even with Ince going! It seems as though every player has been made available to me, I can see us holding out for a certain amount of time before ultimately agreeing mutual terminations with one or two, just to reduce the numbers and make for a more harmonious squad as has already been said.

Keogh, shackell, blackman, butterfield, weimann, bent and martin could all go aswell and id only be looking to bring 1 or 2 in to replace them,, blood some of the u21s in.

I will be unhappy if we don't add some creative players, but it's too early to make any assumptions. September 1st however

Can't see us letting another midfielder go, surely 2/3 defenders and 2/3 attackers if we can
