    New midfielder in

Curle seems to be good at signing midfielders, and I suppose a bit of strength in depth will be useful, but I'm still waiting for defenders. I wish the bloke well, but he joins Adams, Jones Kennedy and Joyce. Who will he replace? - External Link

Decent signing, however we aren't short of competent midfielders and suspect the money used to sign this player could've been better used in strengthening our defence.

Anybody with half a brain can see that Liddle needs to be pushed forward into the midfield and we need to be investing principally in defenders with a genuine quality.

Curle reckons he's "defensively minded"? What tosh. If he really was defensively minded then he'd be investing more of our precious resources into the defence rather than using the Abbott Transfer Handbook that Greggy must've left in the manager's desk.

"Sign as many midfielders as you can, play them in whatever position you feel like apart from midfield"
