    Tom Lawrence

Derby are currently interested in Leicester City's Tom Lawrence for a fee around £7m to replace Tom Ince. At only 23-years-old he has shown real promise of a real outstanding player for the future whilst he was at Ipswich last season, and Rowett sees him as a player who can guide us to promotion for the upcoming season.

I prefer him to jota but 7m is steep,, might be worth going in with a 5m bid first and hoping leicester are thinking about selling quickly to strengthen themselves.

If we can get 3m for keogh (rumoured) then it does free us up to bring in a winger and possibly a central midfielder.

Ollson, blackman, shackell and weimann are still a probkem to move on though.

I prefer Jota to Lawrence only because he has been better on performance wise then Lawrence but on the contrary, Leicester have a price they want for him and so do Brentford and we will have a budget on how much we are willing to pay for either player so we will see what happens in due course.

Before his switch to becoming an outfielder player he was an excellent goalkeeper for Liverpool.
