    Dads Army.

Aston Villa and Mr Bruce seem to have a transfer policy, that age and experience is better than youth. Lets hope for their sake that they will have the legs !!

I think Glenn Whelan is an excellent signing for Villa, Samba will also prove to be a shrewd bit of business by Steve Bruce.

    Saw someone tweet this:
"With Christopher Samba and Ahmed Elmohamady at the back, Aston Villa are in prime position to be relegated from the 2013 Premier League."

Bruce's transfer strategy makes it all the more ***** that Villa are promoted this season. If not, their third season back in the Championship is going to feature a roster with overaged, overpaid, failed players at this level.

Theres some truth to that idea Abbo, but not all truth obviously.
I think it shows how many different opinons managers/coaches have, just like we all do as fans.
I actually do rate 'experience' in a player as being very important.
