    Queens off to flying start

Queens off to a flying start with a good 3-1 at Stenny - another brace from the Dobmeister - haven't seen match reports but match stats on BBC suggest Queens were in control

We were awful for an hour. In control 2nd half but left it late to take the lead. Terrible error by Rooney for the Stenny penalty but he did well enough otherwise and scored a fine header.

Was there and totally agree Francis, we are going to be in the bottom 3 unless we strengthen the squad. We rely totally on one man.

but are the funds there to help us strengthen ? Talk on the bus yesterday that they might not be . It's time for millionaire Hewitson to splash some cash or we'll really struggle this year

Amazed to read on Pie and Bovril that so - called football expert Graham Spiers while discussing Queens game yesterday on the radio said he did not realise Dobbie was back in Scottish Football - what an out and out useless bampot !

Danny presumably injured (again) as he wasn`t on the bench.
That said there were other options rather than trying to squeeze 3 central midfielders into a 4 man midfield. We looked much better balanced once young Connor Murray came on to go wide right and Stirling moved wide left. Murray did well and Stirling looked a real threat second half.

I see that Aberdeen’s interest in Stranraer youngster Kyle Turner has reportedly ended. Is this not the type of signing that Queens should be pursuing- a promising young midfielder currently with a part time club who eventually could earn the club a transfer fee whilst doing us a job in the meantime?
