Get shut of the greedy ****, I hope he gets a move to Everton, he'll be found out there soon enough.

A mate of mine has a ST at Everton, he's almost in tears at the thought of losing Lukaku and signing Gray. Of course it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I can see his point.

    Will Everton pay him that?

    Seems like Spurs won't.

I still find this story about Spurs wanting Gray laughable, there's some right nonsense gets in the papers in the silly season and this one is surely as silly as they come. Spurs are aiming for the PL and Champions League this season, any signings will inevitably be made with that in mind. So they want a striker who wasn't even considered good enough to start at Burnley, a club who finished 16th and struggled for goals all season.

Aye, go on then, and I'm an effing pineapple.

Yet you place enough belief in the Star's story that he wants £100k a week to label Gray a greedy ****.

Nothing to do with the Star and I don't label him anything. What his actual wage demands are I neither know or care, but he isn't happy with what we offer him, which would make him extremely wealthy, and won't sign a new contract with us. Ergo he IS a greedy ****, just like most footballers.

I think there is a huge difference between what we can or could pay a player to what we actually will or would be prepared to pay a player.

I recently asked everyone the question, "What do you think our wage ceiling is?" I am getting information from reliable "sources" that £40k per week is as far as we are going to go and that is fine with me!

I could manage quite easily on £40k a year! What about you lot?
