    Ross McCormack

Sunderland are officially leading the race to sign Ross McCormack from Aston Villa with putting an official offer in for him but it looks like they will have a hard job on their hands to acquire his services as they are in a tug of war with the likes of Hull City, Reading and Derby also interested in his services.

Please tell me this is not true wouldn't take him on a free If Bruce can't do anything with him then Rowett has no chance we definitely don't need a player who can't turn up for training when his electric gates won't open

Shouldn't worry mista. Be surprised if he goes anywhere other than Sunderland.
Excellent player at his best imo, just that he hasn't been anywhere near his best for a while now.
Reckon the days of manager's being able to 'sort' troublesome players have gone now anyway. Only Pulis seems to still have that reputation, in the top two divisions at least, with contracts being so watertight and agents all powerful nowadays.

They can keep him, and have Vydra as part of the deal.

ramAnag Yes your right he was a good player 5years ago let's hope he goes to Sunderland he was trouble at Fulham Villa even on loan at Forest he never looked interested Thats what happens to some players when they have millions in the bank Adi you only want them to take Vydra I could name another half a dozen but I know Grayson wouldn't be fool enough to take them

I rather think this is one of those "associate Derby with any tired over the hill player on the market" headlines created by journalists who have no idea what else to write and want to try to appear to be ITK. We have spare cash, may be looking for a striker so thats enough: assign us an interest!

That said I would swap him for Blackman as long as Villa pay a lot of his salary!

Didn't do much when he was at Forest considering he had a lump he had to remove and his head wasn't in the game and wasn't playing at his best that he could of been doing, he is still a good player mind you but where ever he ends up hopefully he can find his form that we saw at Fulham and get back to his best.

Agreeing with the Pulis comment. Back in the day when everyone wanted a fancy-dandy new manager I suggested Pulis, always liked his shape up or sod off attitude

"That was no way to speak to Britt Assombalonga" I see what you did there but that was probably the best comment from you by far.
