Looks like Bent could have a big part to play for the promotion challenge after signing a new 1 year deal this summer!

He triggered his contract renewal clause when he achieved a number of targets that was set out for him to do, but that doesn't mean that Bent will be staying at Derby because he could still get his move to Turkey yet or another club at the very most.

He is the top goal scorer though this season and a top penalty taker, could be Bent and Blackman leading the line with Martin and Nugent on the bench!

He injured his knee soon after he scored the penalty and was taken off by Rowett as a precaution. Time will tell if he will be available for Saturday's game against Kaiserslautern.
