    Morton fallout

It has been almost two years since we last played Morton in the League Cup. Such was the alarm at the defeat in Greenock the the manager lost his job. Stephen Robinson will be aware of the need for a positive result on Saturday. - External Link

Morton have been our banana skin many times - here's hoping Saturday isn't another 'big dissy'.

You're fair going some to call it many times...their win last time is the only one against us in 30-odd years, it was their first goals against us since 1991!

Given our record we can never take anything for granted but having seen their highlights v Berwick and being held at home by a team we just beat 5-1, we should be winning this with room to spare.

Yes absolutely, anything less than a win in 90 minutes will be unacceptable.

We are a top flight side and they are a Championship side and we are at home which should give us more of an advantage. This is also a cup game and therefore must win so we need to win this one.
