A bit of a quandary for me this one. Not a great lover of Aberdeen by any means, but for their fans to be at FP for 12 o'clock is a nonsense. It'll cost us in away fans revenue as many will not now travel, but on the other hand ... you can't moan at the broadcaster as they put in loads of dosh. I'm not intelligent enough to offer a solution - anyone else want to take that challenge?

It's such a shame that we've turned over so much control of the fixture list to TV companies. The next negotiation should force a few conditions even if they result in a poorer deal.

Early /Friday night kick-offs only between clubs within easy travelling,

No switching of days without a couple of months notice

Live TV = maximum half price entry

    any more?

The solution lies in our own hands. Stop watching live football on the box and cancel Sky/Virgin/BT Sports subscriptions. Thats the only message the footballing authorities and TV companies will understand. Its hypocritical to watch live football on TV and then moan about poor kick off times.
