Liars, Cheats, decievers, Power Crazy Money Grabbers

Philip Hammond has demanding Britain maintain existing customs arrangements with Europe until a new “long-term” system is fixed.

The now Chancellor along with Teresa May have been solid remainers.

Surely this goes against the vote that a lot of people wanted and again IMO makes a mockery of people having a fair vote and those in Cabinet making it obvious our thoughts, feelings, needs and wants don't count.

How right you are Alto ,

Democracy rules - we have the vote and they simply don't want to step away ( all lining there own pockets.)

We are frightened to death of being a strong powerful nation and standing on our own two feet.

To think those people are the ones that are meant to look after our country.

Doesn't exactly install confidence in us does it. ?

Jesus wept, more ante-Brexit drivel from a lefty rag, Hammond says nothing new, we want to maintain the current customs arrangements, of course we bloody do, while being outside the Customs Union, and there may have to be a transitional period while this is negotiated and achieved. Our position for months, nothing new or contentious at all.

Simply issue VAT deferment certificates like we had in the good old days.

With the pound like it is we should be currently selling everything we have into Europe!!!

Whatever happened to "flexibility"? Here's the challenge - get over it!
