Thread: My views on today's Palace game.

My views on today's Palace game.

I missed the first 15 minutes in which Evans went off with an ankle injury, not reported to be serious. Palace scored their first from a free kick, straight through the Albion 3 man wall which broke. Seemed Livermore was the main culprit.
Their second goal came from a deflection that left Foster flat footed.
Surprisingly most of the game was played in the Palace half. Both Rondon & Rodders seemed reasonably sharp. Phillips was the stand out player, creating most of the good things we offered. Chadli was quiet with one or 2 highlights.
Around the hour mark several substitutions were made. Leko & Robson-Kanu replaced the 2 strikers. Neither made an impression apart from one bit of trickery from Leko. Phillips went off so the midfield became less a force with McClean & Field coming on. Field was notable only for his anonymity. The sub who did make an impact was Roberts. Looked quite a handful. Maybe playing in the lower leagues last season helped that.
Kane Wilson came on at left back and looked solid, also pushing forward well. Darn sight better than the Wilson we endured at the end of last season.
McClean, looking very blond, was his usual aggressive self.
No sign of Morrison. Injured again?

Thought Morrison and Gareth were left in the UK to continue their fitness fight in time for the new season. Maybe I have got it wrong.

Hey Mick (and any other fan on here), what about this suggestion from the C.Palace manager that your team deliberately set out to injure Wilfred Zaha.

Its funny how Tony Pulis played it down and kind of suggested it was nothing!!
Isnt it amazing though how we can all see things differently when it involves our own team and our own players etc.!!

I read that acido on teletext.

Looks like another manager like klopp who wants us to lie down and let his team walk all over us.

Btw the way Acido I got to give you my utmost respect for the way you handle the disgraceful bullying you suffer at the hands of that dingle s cum bag (you know who I mean), the latest episode being last night.

I like the way, you too, have him dangling like a puppet.

Good luck for the new season and I hope your tykes take 12 points from our "illustrious" neighbours!
