Well Mr Villa & the referee exchanged plenty of dialogue, he was warned for his “handbags at dawn” squaring up to a player, plus several conversations about Gabby taking the legs from beneath opponents in what he believes passes as challenging for the ball -difficult to pick a stellar performance though Chris Samba just about edged it over the referee

In the execution of his goal Gabby’s touch/technique was about as subtle as a shark attack

The “Final” was in equivalence to the “Semi-Final” a non event,

The Semi-Final produced some satisfactory individual performances Elmo, Hogan, Doyle-Hayes & Callum O’Hare all produced creditable displays

Gabby has the bit between his teeth now so let's stop giving him stick. Like it or not he's going to be a major part of the team this season if it's starting or off the bench.
Bong that's because he blatantly fouled the defender to gain possession and then did everything he could do not to score, he'd get away with neither in the league. He mugged Villa with his 4 year deal last time round, the same won't happen again.

I wish we could have seen his face when the keeper palmed the ball away from him and it somehow ended up at his feet again. I bet it was sheer surprise.

Yeah, voted by referees who thought his mugging of a defender was a fine tackle. Meanwhile the real Villa fans felt that Hogan, ElMo, Doyle-Hayes, Samba, Terry all stood out as having better performances. But keep wearing those rose tinted glasses.

No that's the perspective you get when your not bitter and angry about a player.
