    Hey guys Notts fan in peace.... We signed Sean Brisley from you guys today, could I ask your opinion on him? as to be honest I have never heard of him before....

    Strange one,he was really poor for us but sometimes you get a feeling he will do better at a different club.

    I agree with Pete; there's a player in there somewhere. Up to your coaching staff to get it out.

    I don't think it helped him playing in a truly horrendous defence.

    Also, his injury last pre-season and non-involvement in the Cassius camp put him behind the rest of the squad and he never really caught up...despite scoring one of the best goals with a mis-kick you'll ever see.

    I actually had reasonable hopes that he might improve after a full pre-season this term, but due to the signing of Parkes and Curle's inexplicable hard-on for Liddle at centre-back he wouldn't have been starting again - and for a player on his wage with a squad our size that's untenable.

    All in all I'm not heartbroken by his departure, despite the fact there may be a footballer in there somewhere (as eluded to) - and he was a million miles a better player for us than Mike Edwards was - if that's any pointer for a Notts County fan!
