    Fits Your Favourite Sweetie

As I have demolished a 2.2kg box of Black Jacks in 2 weeks oot here (nae many were shared) it got me thinking of my own answers to this question

Chocolate wise- Nae doubt about it Star Bars. The mutts nuts of chocolaty goodness

Sweetie (Sookie or chewy wise)- Black Jacks are up there but I have to go with a good old fashioned brandy ball

Used to be sports mixtures and Bassetts all sorts and midget gems exactly the same as my granda Jock .

But they are not veggie so haven't ate them in years

I know but veggie sweets that you get a nice chew out of like the above.

Chocolate has to be Bournville again vegan and goes superb with Ethiopian coffee .

My daughter's making me a nice cake with Bournville topping this week .
    Surprised I'm not fat .

Used to live round the corner from the Rendezvous on Forest Avenue before it became the Nargile (that must be over 20 years ago now?). Favourite order was a 99 and a quarter of Sports Mixture (much better pre-Maynards) or Soor Plooms. Never saw the merits of a Slider as a young loon but looking back I think I was missing out.

Also a fan of those fizzy cola bottles you get in Woolies Pic 'n' Mix. Would give me a massive sugar high as a kid though.

Black Jacks are a good shout as well. Did they ever bring back Irn Bru bars?

Remember the Rondezvous cafe very well back in the early 70s used to got there and play some sounds in that old juke box.

If you put the top third below the bottom bit, it would look like a fat munter in the bath.
