    Beach Ballistic

    Race quite an event think there's only about 150 places left .

    Folk coming from France Malta or was it Cyprus .. well anyway huge event if you can make the effort and have a go.

    There's the Aberdeen half marathon that weekend as well

    Aye but not as fast as I would like.

    The age thing I suppose my mates were very good runners as well 30min 10k 70min or less for half marathon..

    But we've had our day.

    One of them is 62 now and he's often in the top 10 for the park runs in fact he won the Stonehaven park run not that long ago.

    I do train with them but it's painful.
    Too old now to be suffering pain.

    But the Balmedie race looks like it's going to be amazing something different are you going to do any of these races young Pac..

    Im done with deliberately keeping fit. Did it for over 20 years. Besides with all the walking, heavy lifting wrestling with pumps and sh@t that I do at work im fit as a fiddle. No need to race.

    Do need to get back into my badminton though

    Nah been there done that. Used to be really fit but when i quit fitba i gave up. Im not unfit now. Just nae as fit as i was. As i said my jobs pretty demanding and it keeps me in good shape.

    Take away the beers and the Black Jacks and im a healthy guy too.
