    Will we never learn?

How many times will it take before we learn to take all teams seriously before making ump**** changes to a winning team, Go out win the game tonight and qualify for next round and make as many changes as you like on Saturday when the job is done.Did the same against Albion Rovers in the cup a couple of years ago and went out on our a**e,only gives the opposition the impetus they need when you disrespect them as a team.

Have to agree with you, many teams Motherwell included assume it seems all they have to do to win is show up. It does mot inspire confidence in me at all

You could argue in the long-term the risk is beneficial to see what we've got and to protect certain players. There will likely come a point this season when we struggle and there will be a call of play X, play Y, play Z. Those players not in starting eleven will, as the cliche goes, be 'banging on the door' - it's pretty useful being able to point out, to them and the fans, that in their previous chance X, Y and Z almost lost to Edinburgh City - so perhaps who we have had out, even going through a bad patch in the top-flight, is the best we have.

Obviously when you play like that though, everything is fair game to be criticised - but it all comes down to results. We got the benefit, minor though it may be, of rotating heavily while still winning.

The real positive is obviously the reaction to going behind - and that could be a big, big goal by Frear given how the seeding for the last 16 works.

Assuming we beat Berwick, of course, that's the sort of game we just need to turn up to win. I'd play the U15s frankly. Er...

To ensure seeding in the next round we need to beat Berwick on Saturday. So no unnecessary slip ups. That said HD you make some fair points. Another opportunity to try out different formations and players. Hopefully Louis Moult will be given a good run out to get him match fit.

Agreed - the simple fact is we would not have turned that sort of game around last season under Magoo! Winning breeds confidence (and I'm actually confident on this season); there seems to be a real 'bond' amongst the current group. All good so far.
