Thread: Tom Anderson...

    Tom Anderson...

I think we have found the answer to our need for another centre half.

Local lad, dying to wear the shirt, been out on loan, got the experience and earned his place in the EPL squad. Great stuff!

    There's optimism and blind optimism

Jeez donzy! We need to meet up again pal and then I can talk a bit of sense into you!

These lads are professional footballers with all of their careers in front of them.

Do you honestly think the likes of Anderson are not going to give it all they have got when they get the opportunity?

Long and Tarkowski will be doing their very utmost to keep hold of that shirt once they have it, of that I am certain.

...and having watched professional football for 58 years I think they are both good enough to play at the top table of English football.

No good moaning about lack of players breaking through our youth ranks unless we give our youngsters like Tom Anderson a chance?

    Wetherspoons - Saturday?

And then there's lunacy, if Tom and Kevin are the answers then we're asking the wrong questions. Sometimes when I read a thread I check the date, to make sure it's not April 1st. This is one that required a check.

Crikey Moses sinkov! We have an Eire international along with Tarkowski and a kid on the verge of a major breakthrough.

How good does it have to get?

How is O'Neill shaping up - I know he is a midfielder but there was high hopes for this lad at the beginning of last season

He is behind Westwood, Brady, Gudmundsson, Arfield, Defour, Hendrick, Marney & Ulvestad and he can only benefit from that!
