Something else I agree with you on! There was a poster on here whose moniker I forget, who was purist and rather pedantic who had a hissy fit at the thought of Pulis becoming manager, whereas my view was, got Stoke up and kept them up, has done a good job at West brom, clubs that we ought to be emulating, but apparently its better to play pretty football and be a mid table championship team than be pragmatic and get promoted and become a mid table prem team!

Pearson was that kind of Manager but when he got rid of Martin supporters had the sulks! The funny thing was though the supporters were wanting rid of him anyway, but as soon as he went to Fulham they wanted him back!!! You can't win.

Martin had a poor pre-season work ethic he was fat and was slacking on his fitness routines and didn't look interested at all, Pearson was right to let him go out on loan and try and recoup his lost interest which it did, but he should of brought in a proper replacement in then just Vydra before he let him out, and that's what worried the fans the most and we did a pis* poor transfer business at that time let's put it that way and I have to say Pearson wasn't interested let's put it that way and that's what ended his demise in the end.

Gary Rowett has ruled out interest in Ross McCormack and is not a player he has on his list of players to buy.

Sunderland edging closer to signing Ross McCormack on a season long loan from Aston Villa in time to play against us on Friday night. Looking to spice up their play as they kick of their return the EFL it seems.
